Pramith Foundation for Science and Economic Change (Pramith Foundation) is a fast-growing not-for-profit founded by alumni of IIT, IIM, and Jadavpur University along with leading academicians, working towards the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We focus on two key areas: • Vocational Skills & Livelihoods – empowering youth, especially women, with industry-relevant skills for sustainable employment • Education Enrichment – reducing learning poverty and enabling access to quality education while fostering critical thinking We design and implement high-impact CSR programs across 11 states in India, partnering with leading organizations such as ITC, Bajaj Auto, Tata Group, Hindalco, Birla Copper, Mahindra CIE Automotive, Sandvik, Legrand, KSB Pumps, SFS, Credit Access Grameen, Coal India, ONGC, and IHFC (the Technology Innovation Hub of IIT Delhi). Our work has been widely recognized: • Founder Director named as “100 Women Transforming India” by NITI Aayog (with UN), 2019 • Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women Fellowship (IIM Bangalore & ISB Hyderabad) • Stanford SEED Fellowship – Stanford Graduate School of Business • ASSOCHAM Award – Best Skilling Organisation for Women Empowerment Our interventions include skill training in Manufacturing (CNC/VMC), Healthcare, BFSI; CSR project implementation; education enrichment & Green Education; and hybrid tuition support for Bengali medium students. We partner with corporates to deliver scalable, measurable, and sustainable social impact aligned with CSR and ESG goals.
